Staff Spotlight: Pat Lane

By Pat Lane

Introducing Pat Lane!

Pat joined the team at IKON five years ago and has been given the opportunity to update his training qualifications and progress his abilities as a training facilitator, most recently with IKON Live – remote workplace training.

Hear from Pat about his journey to joining IKON Training…

“Back in the 1980s, I started my career within the police. I loved it and gained so much knowledge and transferable skills that I wanted to pursue an opportunity to run my own business delivering Conflict Resolution and Physical Skills Training. I have experience in various training courses within many sectors, including NHS & Foreign governments worldwide. I had an incredible opportunity to deliver security training for National Staff and the British Army contingent tasked with protecting the British Embassy in Kinshasa, DR Congo, NGOs in Africa, Europe, and America, and the newly formed Iraqi Oil Protection Police. I joined the team at IKON five years ago and have been given the opportunity to update my training qualifications and progress my abilities as a training facilitator, most recently with IKON Live – remote workplace training; I love working with some fantastic clients at IKON who are ready, willing and able to share their experiences. One of the most common feedback comments I get is my evident passion for what I do. I believe that everyone should be free from the threat of violence and aggression at work. Family life is essential to who I am and what gives me great pleasure. I love spending time with my Dad at Franklins Gardens watching Northampton Saints Rugby. I am a 7th Dan Black Belt in Ju-Jitsu and have re-discovered cycling and walking… And brewing my own beer!”
