Collaborating with Baby Lifeline

James Adams and I had the honour of collaborating with Baby Lifeline for their induction training. They are a well-respected organisation that provides support and training for healthcare professionals in the maternity sector.

A few months back, James wrote our website’s LEAPS communication model blog, and it received a fantastic response! Abaigh from Baby Lifeline stumbled upon it during her research and invited us to contribute to their new Independent Senior Advocate training.

We gladly accepted and developed a 90-minute bespoke training package. James worked with five learners, guiding them in using LEAPS to support conversations about loss and grief.

Their passion for the role was evident, and witnessing their understanding of LEAPS grow, primarily through role play, was incredible. Some lightbulb moments, indeed!

As trainers, it was gratifying to see the positive impact of the blog and our training. The learners rated it as very good/excellent, and it fulfilled their learning objectives, significantly enhancing their communication skills.
