Hello and welcome to the latest IKON blog in which we bring you some exciting news that will positively impact the services we’re able to provide to our customers. The news is that IKON has been awarded a Plan For the Future Grant by New Anglia Local Enterprise for Norfolk and Suffolk and East Council.
The grants are awarded to small businesses across the region to help those impacted by COVID-19 grow. The funds provided will help to promote strong recovery and support business performance, and they’re going to mean some significant changes for IKON clients going forwards.
To begin with, we’d like to take a moment to say a big thank you to New Anglia Local Enterprise, with a particular mention for Robert Turnbull (FIOEE) – the Business Growth Advisor for New Anglia Growth Hub. We’ll let Jason Keeley, our Managing Director & Founder explain…
“The application process was incredibly straightforward because of Robert’s knowledge, expertise and advice. Robert assisted us every step of the way until our grant was confirmed. To say we couldn’t have done it without him would not be an understatement.”
We can promise you that IKON will put the grant to excellent use. We are introducing a virtual training facility, complete with a ‘green room’ that will allow our trainers to offer a seamless experience, delivering exceptional remote training of the same standard enjoyed in person.
It will also allow us to purchase specialised equipment provided and installed by D&A Media, including Microsoft Surface Pros, monitors, webcams, and docking stations. Our new meeting room/training facility will use the new Neat One allowing us to provide a next-level remote learning experience via IKON Live.
The benefits coming from the grant are numerous, including:
One thing that sets us apart from others is that we have a full-time in-house training team, meaning that our exacting internal standards are maintained at all times. What’s more, our new and improved training rooms will also be available for external trainers to use upon request.
We’re both proud of and grateful for the awarding of the grant we’re receiving, and it means that there’s an exciting future for IKON as a company and the customers we serve. If you would like to know more about us and the training we offer, please visit us today at www.ikontraining.co.uk.
