A: As the Operations Manager, my role involves working closely with clients to meet their training needs. With our new training management system, I enjoy coordinating our trainers’ schedules to deliver courses at the right time and place. I take pride in being super organised, aided by my annoyingly good memory, and I always strive to provide excellent customer service. I’m always happy to help!
A: Well, something that might surprise people is that I have quite a few tattoos! Most of them are hidden, though.
A: I absolutely love our company’s ethos, which is all about helping people develop themselves, grow their skills, and build their confidence. It’s incredibly satisfying to know that our trainers support people who often deal with challenging situations and behaviours daily. I particularly enjoy reading learners’ feedback after completing their training.
A: The first thing I do is have a cup of tea, preferably made by Le-Anne, as she makes the best tea! Once that’s out of the way, the day can begin.
A: Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with some fantastic people in different industries and at different levels. I’ve learned something from all of them, and their influence has helped shape my career path.
A: Organisation is a professional skill that I’ve really nailed. It comes naturally to me, and it helps me stay on top of my workload and be productive.
A: I’m most productive in the morning and afternoon. I switch off in the evenings and take time for myself.
A: My primary motivators are doing a good job and helping the people we work with. Knowing that I’ve positively impacted someone’s life or helped them develop their skills is incredibly rewarding.
A: If I had to choose a different career and had my time again in education, I would pursue a career in medicine, maybe a surgeon. It’s a profession that requires attention to detail, precision, and care – all things that I value and embody.
