Jude’s testimonials.

‘I really enjoyed the Managing Challenging Behaviours training session. Sam and Jude were excellent trainers. They explained everything very clearly and made the session engaging and easy to understand. The examples and discussions were very helpful for real clinical situations. I found the class very useful and informative. Thank you both for delivering such a great training session.’

‘Jude was lovely, really down to earth, so easy to engage with. She delivered the session with the utmost of professionalism and knowledge and most of all empathy. Her experience really made me feel that she understood what we experience daily with the violence and aggression from our patients and or relatives. I have completed Conflict resolution training before which was dry and quite frankly, boring! The session flowed perfectly and the slides were not long and drawn out with too much detail. It was so nice to have a relaxed atmosphere where the engagement in the sessions was easy and Jude didn’t single you out or make us feel uncomfortable speaking in a room with others even though we all know each other and have worked with each other, most of us for years.
Its a shame Jude cant deliver all of our practical training sessions, they would be a lot more fun and engaging.’

‘Jude was amazing, she had so much knowledge and insight. She was really friendly and approachable but was able to make the severity of the content very clear in a
professional manner without it coming across too overwhelming or pushy. The way she made it a group-based session led by people’s lived experiences and tailoring it to our daily work load was extremely helpful so I feel able to directly apply it if the situation presents itself.’

This 4 days IKON training was excellent. The restraint techniques were perfectly shown, explained and we had plenty of time to practice them. They are both safe (for the person restrained and ourselves) and adequate for our job. The legal aspect of our actions was also taught, which is an excellent point as many security officers are not fully aware of the implication of restraining/removing someone from the premises. The importance of a good report writing was also emphasized, with what elements to put in it. At last the trainer (Trevor) and his trainee (Jude) were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They made us feel at ease and confident in what we are doing.

The best part is seeing people realise they can handle situations they once found daunting.’
